Eric Knipe
Principal / President
Summer has been with CREC since 2015 and was hired to grow the Residential Valuation Division. Her success resulted in the division representing more the half of all revenues. In 2021, Summer acquired the company with specific interest in expanding the Commercial and Governmental sectors.
Summer leads all vision for the firm and daily management operation.
Vice President
Chad has led multiple real estate operations in the Midwest before stepping back to his greatest passion, commercial appraising. Chad leads all bank and lender valuation work initiatives for CREC and serves as advisor for governmental and right-of-way services.
Chad is an MAI appraiser, historically, Chad brokered hotels and managed company real estate assets.
Director Brokerage Services
Eric was a founding partner of CREC's predecessor before starting his own firm with a focus on sustainability and renewable energy. Eric Joined CREC in 2022 to lead the Commercial Real Estate division's brokerage and consulting services while advising on the Right of Way Division's renewable services. Eric is a seasoned project manager and commercial development consultant.

Jacob, an Appraiser Trainee, with more than two years experience, adeptly evaluates properties across Indianapolis, Carmel, Fishers, Columbus, Greenwood, and beyond. His meticulous analyses and market insights enhance valuation accuracy. Jacob's commitment to excellence underscores his significant contributions to informed real estate valuation.

Right of Way Appraiser
Clayton came out of semi-retirement to join CREC's Right of Way division as special consultant and overflow appraiser.
Clayton specializes in partial acquisition valuation of agricultural and residential properties. Clayton has been in real estate for more than 40 years and offers his specialties to educate, train and contribute to CREC's growing client base.
Appraiser Trainee
Maddie has been with CREC since 2024 and is currently in the appraisal training program. She is recipient of the National Merit Scholarship and enjoys Environmental Science with specific interest in the marine environment. Maddie is a self starter and takes on varying and dynamic tasks.
Karyl Cabus

Research Analyst
Karyl has been with CREC since 2022 serving in the role of Executive Assistant and Researcher. Karyl specializes in the due diligence and data collection of real property. Whether it is in the form of due diligence reports, appraisals or keeping staff on schedule, Karyl is a dynamic multi-tasker and manager of high volume projects.
Kay Topping
Mass Appraisal Specialist
Kay joined CREC in 2021 as Mass Appraisal Specialist for our government clients and advisor on assessment issues for our client's property tax issues. Kay's career has been spent in local public agency offices and in dealing with both the public and governmental bodies. Kay assists in pro-forma tax consulting and assessment appeal research.
